Experience with Pioneer adapter cable CA-D-PI.180?

Last weekend I replaced my Tuner List HU with a Pioneer DEH-600-BT. Bluetooth fuctionality and sounding a little better. Also a lot easier to operate. Now I want to upgrade the front speakers and tweeters with Pioneer TS-Q131C but that is for a later thread

I am thinking about buying the Pioneer adapter cable, CA-D-PI.180 to get back functionality of the display and steering wheel remote. If anyone here has this installed I would very much appreciate a little feedback. I've read in a few threads now about sloppy response but I believe that was a cable from another manufacturer.
Would I have the same issue with a Pioneer cable?
