After reconnecting the battery and turning on the radio, I get CODE and SPEECH flashing alternately, preventing me from entering the code.
Any ideas, anyone..........?

Re: Radio Code Problem
Do you have a carkit in your car? It seems the radio is receiving a mass-connection on the mute-pin in the ISO-connectors on the back of the radio. This triggers the "speech" message on the display.
When you indeed do have a carkit, try to disconnect it or turn it of if that's possible. This will stop the mass-connection being made.

KJ,
Thanks for that, I disconnected the car kit and was able to enter the code successfully.
