Subwoofer and boot size

Postby beer goggles » Thu Mar 26, 2009 3:16 pm

Can anybody tell me the cubic feet size of the megane boot off the top of their heads? Also can anyone give me a few ideas on either buying a subwoofer or building my own enclosure for 1? Only asking on here to see if anyone has had good or bad experiences buying or building 1.
I am a bit of a bass head, i dont want it to be mental loud, just deeper the better. Thanks for any help :grin

just buy one... a fair bit of maths goes into a decent sub box to produce a decent punchy note.

if you want to hit lows then your box needs to be tuned correctly in a custom box. sealed boxed are smaller, however slot ported boxes are louder but bigger . All depends on what sub you go for??????
As each sub has it own specifications on what box size is best for it
Black Megane - Black Tints - Black 18" Rims with Chrome - Angel Eyes - Shark Fin - Tail Fins - Kenwood DNX7200 - ipod Video -Hertz Space 6.5" Components - PG Ti500.4 - MTX 9544-15" Sub - Orion D5000 - Audison Cabling - Optima Power = NICE
