double din

hey there guys was looking at getting a double din unit for my megane

the facia adaptor in halfords is for an 07

just wondering if the console has changed since the 55 plate which mine is

also were would the best place too get on and much yous recon it will set me back

all info is appreciated guys :) thanks in advance :)

sorry a musta skiped by that one :-(

only other thing was the guy in the renault dealer said there was a deffinate change in the consol between the 55 n then the 07 then 08

so he said he was sure that the facia adaptor that halfords had for the 07 would no fit :S

The double din cage in Halfrods is made by a company called Connects2.com.( for sale at 22.50 else where)It is incorrectly labelled as when you buy it and see the label on the box it will say 2005 - 2007, anyway there is no change in that part of the dash through 2002 - 2008 i.e. all Megane 2's. Most Renault dealers don’t know their arse form their elbow, so take all with a pinch of salt.

If you are still unsure that this kit will not fit please look at the above link to show other wise.
