Kenwood Double Din in my Megane

This looks very impressive, and is close to convincing me to part with some of the hard earned (and heavily taxed ) cash.
As a complete noob, I can't click on the link to where you got the double din adapter from and have midded the one on fleabay.
Could somebody let me know......

Hi All, I have 2.0T megane on 05I have got a new double din dvd headunit and cant a facia plate anywhere!!! Whre can i get one!?!?!?!?!?!?

Ive seen one on connects2 website for about 40 quid but it says its fro 2007 megane? Is it the same fit??

I have the same problem.

There are many shops here with one DIN frames, but double DIN is a problem.

I see on Ebay a set with frame and cage for 100 euro. Is that a good price?

(Sorry for my bad english, i'm from the Netherlands)

Guys i have got the same problem can anyone advice me what to do? i need a double din facia for a megane 2004. i cant find any one ebay who is auctually selling one. I have seen one company selling it on Internet. and they r selling it 4 £60.00 which is a bit expensive... plz help....

I am going to have the same problem next week when my double din arrives... but i have a plan... Im going to go into uni and draw the facia in CAD (Solid Works), then print it with a Rapid Protyper (A machine that 'prints' a plastic polymer in 3D) then spray it. Will have a perfect fit for £0!!!

Nice job you have done there mate . Im half way through installing a Kenwood DNX 8220 BT in my meggy. Im a bit concered about having to hack away at the centre console to make the double DIN fit. Im going buying a Dremel this afternoon to try and do a neat job

Anyway, If I even have to sell my beloved, how much does it cost for a new centre console trim peice thingie, so I can put the original two head units back in (I had the Mp3 Cabasse and the in dash changer)?

I am struggling to find wiring information espacially for Controls on steering wheel and on display is there any kind of adaptor available for this

Shahid - I dont use the controls on my steering, infact, i forgot i had one until you mentioned it"!!!

Burnty - its not a structural piece, so you can just glue it back on (or weld it) thats if u haven't chucked it away by now

here is some pictures for my install, Kenwood DNX 7200 with Bluetooth BT200 + Ipod video adaptor and GTM aerial.

Did it all myself....bit of an issue when putting it in the dash, as it was a bit of a squeeze.

but tell me what you think.










the facia kit is from this compay in UK and it was very fast delivery (VERY FAST) for no extra cost!!

Halfrauds dont know what they are doing!! they are installing a HU in the air con unit!!!!
