Radio not wotking .. showing 'Error'

Hi, I've fitted Connect2car kit so I can play MP3's vis a Memory stick .. this has worked ok for 2 weeks. However, after showing it off to a nephew, scrolling through to Next Track etc , the head unit suddenly asked for 'CODE' ..presumably there must have been a Power Blip. We unsuccessfully tried entering what I thought was the correct code (have now realised it was wrong) a couple of times but no joy. Now when I turn the unit on 'ERROR' flashes on the display, then the word 'WAIT' and digits count down from 95 to zero after which nothing more seems to happen .. I've sat in the car with the ignition on for 10 minutes but the display does not change .. is there any way I can force the unit to request the 'CODE' again ?? .. during one attempt I switched the unit on and held the power button on for about 5 seconds and everything was working ok but once I switched the ignition off and then back on it was back to 'normal' (faulty)
