I originally had the Alpine 9855R (currently for sale) with iPod connector but wanted something different and I have always wanted a tv in the car, so I decided to get this, its from the new range and is the IVA-D106R DVD/MP3/DIVX/CD player, and it fits (just about) into the dash nicely although behind its like spaghetti junction, all coupled with the InCarTec stalk adaptor.
All installed

I then hunted high and low after searching on here about front speakers, I knew the Pioneers wouldn't last long with my amps so I found these, they are Audiobahn 13cm components up front and I put in there 13cm coaxals at the rear. The rear ones fitted in the place of the originals with no problems. The fronts were a little different though and I had to cut away some of the rain protector, which was replaced to accommodate the slightly larger speaker (it was only a few mm but it wouldn't have fitted without it being altered). I then covered the connectors to be on the safe side and put some tape around the speaker where it mounted to the door and that was it. The speakers were wired using the existing cabling then I took the feed from the door to the crossover, which have been mounted in the storage bins in the floor. The tweeters were mounted in the existing place and the cover put back on so you wouldn't be able to tell any different, then wired straight to the crossover, then from the crossover to the amplifier.
Now you see it, now you don't

The existing items were made use of in the form of my JL Audio amps and JL Audio 12w3v2 sub which I put in a new box off ebay, I was trying to get the spare wheel box but the wheel is too small and I was unable to locate a spare of the wheels i brought for my car, so I did this instead.

It was the easiest way of mounting them without going to the exteme and I didn't want to get drilling anything in the car, so I made an MDF rack to mount the amps onto, then made a cover to make it look a bit tidier rather than seeing the cables, it also keeps the box in place too.
All in all I am pleased with the job overall and the sound is fantastic now, the screen is really cool although probably doesn't have as much control over the sound as my original head unit without getting the additional add on, but it was a little wasted anyway before.
Big thanks to everyone whos done a guide on here for replacing rear speakers, putting a amp cable through etc... as without them I would of been stumped having never taken a Megane apart before

Hope you like, as I certainly do
