are you running them through a standard HU matey?

ICEMAN: It is good speakers, I know them (I had them in my previous car Renault R19 - along with HSK165).
Where and how you install its crossovers? You install new wires or use existing? You did some changes in door or speaker depth fit without mods (if I remember correctly, this speakers is deeper)?

and ... ehm, sorry my not knowing of english .... what is backing ring? Is it something like this?:

(this MDF ring is often used when speaker is deeper than hole)

hi mate,

i origionally has PG Ti5's but the instalels cut off the water deflector and the PG's got water damage!!

but the crossover is in the boot (where the PG xover was) behind a false wall.
I used PG cables throughout for the speakers and Audison for the power.

They had to make a false delector and seal it properly! with masting tape (??!?)

the wooden baffel theys used was 6mm deep.

the speaker depth is 63mmm - i think abd they are slightly deeper but the baffer sort that out.


it just sounds absolutly mint!!! so clear........and the gain on my amp is only 1/4!!
cant wait till they run in then im gona get the hole system RTA'd
