The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi,
Dont know if putting this in the right place but ive got an R reg, Megane sport with C/Locking and an imboliser. Now the key battery isnt working right so its taking me ages to lock and unlock the car i have to use the C/Locking as it turns the imboliser off.
Can i just buy a battery and change it or is it a garage job? if so how much?
I have been told that they would fix the key but then have to put some coding into the car and would cost me £380ish .

Yes, simply replace the battery in the key. It's probably a CR2025 lithium batter.
