HI NEW TO SITE JUST PURCHASED 54 1.5DCI TOURER EXPRESSION

Postby TOURER54 » Sat Jan 26, 2008 12:04 pm

HI,

Well I've read many topics on this site and already most of my questions have been answered! My tourer is an ex-fleet car used by 'chubb' and has covered 99000 miles but has had a full new engine fitted at 93000 miles at a cost of £2800. Also service sheets show in excess of another £1800 being spent on other service bits over it's life span. Drives superbly and is really comfortable with the added luxury of being versatile. £115.00 tax bracket which was slightly disappointing as I thought it would be £35 for the year-but hey ho. Only other draw back that some might point out is that it's white-but I'm told white is the new silver!! Hopefully it will be trouble free motoring for some time-watch this space. :-)

welcome though mate, unfortunately the tourers crept into the upper tax bracket, the hatches didnt. bit of a shitter really (unless it was a 5 door 106 witha sunroof :? )

think it must be a weight thing, the 2/3 doors are a little lighter except the sunroof model so produced less co2.
anyhoo have fun with the minty white motor 8-)

Corr new engine at a relatively low mileage (for a diesel). Hope the new engine gives you another 90,000+ miles!
