Hi, newish member, second Megane
Hi People, i have bought a second Megane II - not sure if it was a good idea or not - so far i have had it serviced, cambelt, handbrake went completely, new glow plugs, now the computer keeps reseting itself every morning, rear pacel shelf falls out when opening the tailgate, roof rattles most days....where will it end!! - still love the car though - i have put 18'' wheels on her, dark lexus lights, Clarion MP3 head unit with steering remote still working, it has climate panoramic roof, handsfree, folding mirrors, heated front seats and colour keyed sharkfin... here are some pics (if it works)

That does look well
Roof probably needs regreasing to help stop the rattle.

I tried greasing it a while ago, i did not use any special grease though? i have read somewhere on here that you should use a special type, is that right, it only rattles when shut and if i open it and then close it again it will stop for a while??

Aye, silicone grease. Try searching in the ownership problems forum for a start there should be quite a few posts in there. I know that some of them, mine and my OHs both included, also needed to be re-tightened by the dealer.
