The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi Everyone,

ME: I'm Garry, 24 years old from Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. I bought my Megane 2nd hand in Sept '06 with 31k, now have 48k on it, so I do make good use of it!!

CAR: Bought an '05 Mégane, Dynamique 1.9dCi 130 bhp, Pearl Black Metallic, 3-door, with most of extras, keyless entry, panaromic roof, 6 disc CD, auto lights, wipers etc. Took it for a test drive and couldn't resist!!

Will try to upload some photos soon, but it's taken me about a month to get this far!!

Having a few 'issues' with the car, none too serious and all seem to be common complaints going by other posts.

Great work with the site, very informative, keep it up.

Welcome. Noticed the headlight washers, xenons?

IainMW: tell me about it!! i should take a photo of it now, only about 4 days since i last washed it, it disgusting. usually end up washing it twice a week!! should have listened to eveyone who said 'don't buy a black car, its impossible to keep clean'...but i still wouldn't swap it!!

chrislloydie: yeah, xenons. don't all meganes have headlight washers? never notived!! they're supposed to adjust up and down depending on street lights etc....i can't say i've noticed. when i first bought it, part of that mechanism was broken and they were sitting very high, meaning i was blinding everyone i met / was behind, so i also got their full beam back and no doubt called all the *!$#£'s under the sun ,but since got that fixed. brilliant light from them on unlit roads.
