1.4 Megane - the old horse

Hello fellow owners, I'm 18 trying to start my hatchback obsessed car record with and overly costly to insure Megane 2, which I have uniquely named Megan. Its a 2004 1.4 16v, its done about 102000ish miles (2 of which are mine 
) .
Currently my car is sitting on the drive waiting for me to tinker under the hood and getting it thought its MOT. I bought the car for a humble £380 meaning a huge gamble was taken.
It has its old car issues, the throttle body was dirtier than the bathroom of a night club on a Saturday night, the spark plugs looked like they have been burnt, all the rubber parts are worn and give too much play (cough MOT cough); But most annoyingly the driver side window has given in
I'm here to learn and maybe even advise from the many mistakes I have made and will make, my aim is to become a bit a of a homely mechanic as I've had a passion for cars since i can remember.
