American living in Belgium with a Megane

Moved over from America late this past summer. We are living in Belgium. I bought a used 2009 Megane 2 Break. It lasted a full week before the electrical issues started. First the passenger window stopped working. Then the cig lighter wouldn't work. I was able to get that working by simply removing and then putting back in the fuses next to the steering wheel. Need to look further into the window next. It's only got 86km on it so I think it's pretty sound otherwise. Just not very confidence boasting that two things go wrong in the first week of ownership.
