Hi
I've just agreed to buy a 2005 Megane Sports Tourer with the 1.9 dci engine.
I'm going to have to wait a few weeks for the DVLA to get their act together and issue a V5 before I can collect and drive it......... the new RFL rules are
The car has a few problems which I'll be working my way through (Blower motor, Electric windows, ABS light).
However, the first issue I'll need to sort out is a front wheel bearing. In order to get it sorted out asap, I plan to pick up a used front hub. Can anyone tell me which front hubs will be compatible (ie does it have to be from a 1.9dci, does it have to be from an estate or will a hatchback or convertible hub fit, will a hub from a Scenic fit) ?.
Thanks

Hi there Ratchet and welcome along
I can't help with your question but there should be someone along soon that can help. However, if you've not got an answer in a couple of days post the question in the problems section as some members don't really look at the introductions section

Re: Hi.... and a question
Thanks guys
Had a chat with the dvla yesterday, the purchase of the car is turning into a farce. Their dilly dallying is getting ridiculous and in the meantime I've got a car that is mot'd & insured, but I am unable to buy a RFL for it, so having to get a bus to work
