Carlube Cleaner v M.P.G

Hi. I live in Dorset and last weekend went to Milton Keynes and back. Before starting I put about 300ml of Carlube in the Tank to clean the Fuel System and Injectors (Diesel 1.9DCi CC Roof UP).

Drove up at about 50-70 miles per hour most of the way and got 60 miles per Gallon!

On the way back drove at about 60-70 (a bit faster) and got 58 miles per Gallon!

As the car should do between about 50 - 54 at those speeds that's not a bad return, plus it has cleaned the system out.

The Carlube cost about £5 from EBAY I think I got my money back and a cleaned system.

Before changing your Injectors get some Injector Cleaner and give it a good run.

It works for me.
