Hi from downunder and now goodbye

From Auckland, NZ. English by birth but escaped to the colonies at an early age.

Recently bought a megane 2 hatch, 2003, 2l petrol and panoramic roof. 130km (80miles), service history in silver. Bought it cos we needed a cheap daily runabout with 5* safety and enough room for 3 baby seats across the back in case the babybus goes out of action for a while. Previously owned an espace 4 3.5 v6 which i loved but unfortunately it got rear ended and written off.

From all the research i did prior to buying, it'd have to be one of the best value 2nd hand cars in the nz market. Depreciation on Renaults is huge over here.

So that's me.

Northern tip of the south island. Beautiful part of the country. I avoid going there cos there's a few too many vineyards to distract me.

Hello again. Yes, they do seem to be cheap to buy secondhand. Hope yours is running well :-)

and now it's time for goodbye. I dinged it and have taken a cash settlement instead of repair.

Was going to buy another Meg but realised for the price I could be in a much newer and lower mileage Prius and be financially better off.
It's a huge upgrade from the Meg, but I am sorry to see it go.
