The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi all,

My name is Tim from Derby. I have recently purchased my first Megane but this is certainly not my first French car. I have a long history with all kinds of Citroens and still have two.

I bought my Megane a few weeks ago. It is a 56 reg 1.9 DCi 130 (Believed Non-FAP but not sure). It has the panoramic roof and a few toys but not many.

It has gone back to the garage where I bought it from twice now and is currently still there for small niggles and of course (from reading this forum) the usual water ingress problems (floor hatches, boot well etc) plus a passengers window regulator and its had new rear screen. The garage are being really good about it so far so fingers crossed they can sort some more of my issues as it seems like a good car really.
Quick enough (for now ), roomy and fairly modern and once I get it back I will get the cambelt done as a precaution then maybe start to play a little.

Car going well, drying out since the garage fixed the leak and looking smart!

Think these accidentally found items from work are helping with the damp. (big silica gel packs!)

Welcome! You might wish to disguise the numberplate on photos though - it can lead to criminals making up fake plates and so forth.

Car going well (touch wood) but I think the pollen/cabin filter needed changing...
