Hi all.... I have now had my Megane for 6 weeks and I am just getting used to it. My previous car was a Jaguar "S" type 3.5 so you can well imagine the big difference when getting a Megane 2....smaller car, manual instead of auto, seat size... need I go on. But why the change... well... tyres coming up for replacement...insurance due...no problems for 3/4 years so holding my breath and total milage over 3/4 years..2400 miles with two passengers.
I then looked at the Megane... 30 plus to the gallon... cheaper insurance... cheaper tax... good comfort (seats a bit hard for my old bones) and for the one I got much cheaper service. The one I purchased is an 08 (april) reg... silver...coat protected...and only 11000 miles... smashing little car for just two adults.
The only thing missing is reversing sensors. Are they very easy to fit or should I get them fitted at a dealer.Advice here will be very helpful.
Thats about all.... Frederick ( a vary happy Megane 11 owner).
Hi all from a golden oldie

Hello frederick and welcome along.
I do believe sensors are relatively easy to fit although I must admit that I have always bought cars that had them fit already or, I've had them fit before I pick the car up.

Hi and welcome
with regards to parking sensors, there are so many in the market.I wanted one on my wife's car, took the easy way out and bought one that doesn't really need drilling and got it stuck on the number plate.was about £30,has got 3 sensors and works alright.
If you go to the dealers, they charge quite alot so I would stay well away.
it all depends how handy you are with tools, but all in all they are not very complicated.
