A Host

Hello, bought a MEGANE at a really good price, the intention; to keep it on the road and resolve the many issue it has. Which are numerous, one might say I should have walked away, but I have restored/rebuilt a mini 1000 in a past life, so I'm confident I can fix some things but not everything.

Had a new clutch done as a first post of call, the improvement is a total contrast to the slipping, high biting point, thing of a clutch I had before. 450 quid later! But worth it.

OTHER ISSUES.

Clockspring Broken.
Passenger window not working
Intermittent blower fan issue
Car has a spike in revs when at running temperature, as I depress the clutch and take me foot off the accelerator.
Car sometimes rapidly loses acceleration, as if I've taken my foot off the accelerator. Comes back to life after 2-3 seconds or if I take my foot off.
Engine mounts need replaced.

Plenty of work ahead, and empty pockets!
