Hi,
You will need just under 5 litres of oil.
There should be a sticker with the Hp of the engine in the drivers door opening on the B pillar.
Cheers.

Re: **Injector Fault**
Hi, Yes I would start by trying a different battery on the car. If a cell in the battery on the car has failed jump starting won't work as the defective battery will pull down the donor battery. I've personally had a battery go from working one day to totally dead the next day with no warning to not...

Re: (not) Water in fuse box
Your problems do sound like it's a water ingress problem. Check the area below the wipers, the scuttle panel area. You may have to remove the wiper arms to remove the plastic cover to gain access to the area, at either side there will be a drain hole, this often gets clogged up with leaves, mud etc ...

Hi, If your EGR valve is the Pierburg type which I think it may be by the sounds of it being in two parts, the video below shows one being tested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWONsOtLzB0 More info on the EGR valve... http://www.partinfo.co.uk/files/Pierburg-SI0085-EGR%20Valve%20Sticking.pdf Chee...

Re: LOW IN POWER egr
They are normally riveted together with thin rivets through the bolt holes.
Just line the two parts up when replacing and it will be fine.

Re: Renault Megane battery goes flat in cold weather
Check the hazard warning lights switch, (the red triangular one) make sure it works correctly and is in the off position. I once had one on a Laguna that was a bit dodgy and it didn't turn the flashers on when it was in the on position unless you gave it a good thump, somehow it had been left in the...

Re: Have to keep jump starting megane
Just to clarify, when you say jump start do you mean by connecting another battery to the car with jump leads?
I ask as sometimes people say jump start when they mean bump start (pushing a car to start it)
Cheers.

Good to hear that you have sorted it and for cheap.
Damage to a bearing race is often very hard to spot, a tiny mark on the race will cause a lot of noise when the bearing is running.

Some use the festoon type bulb for the number plate, I think they are 36mm long.

Re: Rear wheel bearing noise Mk II CC
I think you've probably been unlucky with your bearing, I've seen expensive bearings fail in just as short a time so personally I would still take a gamble on the less expensive replacements. The way discs & pads are made these days the discs are normally knackered at the 3 year mark, "They...

Re: Rear wheel bearing noise Mk II CC
Hi, from your description it sounds like a wheel bearing noise, you don't really get play on the type of bearing fitted unless it very worn. I would have expected a longer life out of the bearing however parts are being produced to a budget with chinese bearings being used to keep costs down. I had ...
