Same happend to few days ago, there is a fix on here am sure if you are good with your hands.
Or do what am doing.... Look for a 2nd hand one as new one is tad expensive

No it works in position 2 and 3, i mean if you twist the bit on the stalk, think its the sensitivity it moves once then nothing

Am stuck on this one!
I have put the stalk to position 1 and nothing happens, i then move the the settings on the stalk between the 3 rain drops and the wiper moves once and thats it.
The wipers work in the other positions so it cant be the motor!
Is the sensor fcukd? Answers on a post card please

Happend to me with my vectra gsi few years back, again doing around 50 and belt snapped, auto engine cut on these aswell but 12 valves bent. The auto cut feature is the to limit the damage done not to stop it altogether, there is no way an engine can stop dead at any speed really, unless yot aibgt m...

lol sorry to laugh but i had the exact same issue with my 225, check all the wires and connections reomoved all the plastics and nothing was wrong. so i gave up thinking i will get a new motor for it, but then yesturday it started working again! i think i was due to blockage, just keep trying it mat...
