That's a fantastic result, well done
I read quite a few post on this and other Renault forums from owners with corroded mounting plates, so if the part becomes available and people know about it I'm sure there will be a market for them.
Cheers.

Re: rear left indicator
It's normally corrosion or a bad earth that causes the problem you have. Check the connection on the other rear light (Right hand side) If you haven't already try removing each bulb and make sure each one has a good earth connection, the body of the bulbs earth to the bulb holders. Try placing a ded...

Re: rear left indicator
Hi, Your problem is a bad earth connection at the light cluster. If you remove the electrical plug that connects to the light cluster you will probably find that the contacts are showing signs of corrosion, clean the contacts up and put a smear of grease on them, replace the plug and hopefully your ...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates
I bought new bearings and discs on Ebay for about £60. Came complete with new mountings for ABS sensor Replacement front wheel bearings come with a pressed steel ABS sensor mounting plate that has to be fitted into the hub before the bearing is fitted, but I have never seen the rear disc / hubs com...

You could try this...

Or try fabricating some sort of bracket to hold the sensor.

Have you checked the fused on the battery positive lead, the ones in the red box.
Other than that I would be checking all of the fuses including the ones under the bonnet.
Cheers.

Re: Drivers Window
The window not working is more than likely the Temic Module as they are what normally cause the problems.
Not all replacements support one touch operation of the windows or total closure so if getting a replacement make sure to get one that does this.

Re: Brake Lights instead of Tail lights
If the brake lights are on all of the time with no sidelights on I would look at the brake light switch which is located down beside the brake pedal. If the brake lights are off but are coming on when the sidelights come on check the bulbs, have they been changed recently as it is possible to put th...

Re: Gear box mount ?
The gear stick movement you mention could be caused by worn or broken gearbox / engine mounts, if you know it's not right you should have it looked at.

Re: Car won’t go into certain gears
Hi,
your first step would be to look at the gear linkages at the gearbox end to see if they are all connected correctly.

Re: Brake Lights instead of Tail lights
Hi,
So are you saying that when you turn on your light with the switch at the end of the stalk that the brake lights come on instead of the tail lights?
Or is it that the brake lights are on all of the time even with no lights being switched on?
Cheers.

Re: Where is the air con valve to recharge it?
If you follow the instruction on the can it will be fine, and shouldn't blow up. The fact that Renault have put a HP port on the LP side won't matter, it's still on the LP side of the system. There are videos on youtube showing how to use the cans to top up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_XkaAHvg...

Re: Aircon problem
I'm only guessing here but I think that could be the signal (power) to the compressor fluctuation as the engine is stopping which is causing the compressor to kick in and out the 4 or 5 times you mention. Maybe you could watch from under the bonnet while someone turns the engine off to see if it is ...
