just a quick Q.. the mudflaps in the link come with screws to attach i guess to the wheel arch lining... are they strong enough to not come loose or is it worth buying the clamps instead which are 1.99 a set too ?

I had mine done by Angel tuning with I suppose a generic map.. Had a few issues initially as the map wouldnt load itself through the ecu port.. then when it did decide to accept it, it wiped the plugs and codes from the engine thus putting the car into limp mode in which I had to take it to Renault ...

When switching on my aircon for the first 30 seconds or so and switching the recirculate knob, my aircon is pretty smelly for the first 30 seconds or so. I have a new pollen filter on order, however I took the old one out but it still smells when I first switch it on. Any ideas what the problem may ...

A short/mini screw driver would be handy too..
its a bit fiddly as the filter has to be prised out a little as it pulls upwards, but relatively easy for a novice like me!

to be honest..once you've drove round it, it isnt at all bad.. just treat it as seperate round abouts and as you do, give way to the right..

+1 for yellow calipers with a red car..
my vectra had yellow calipers and looked very nice..
not got round to doing these yet (red megane also) but when I find time I'll get the wheels off!

Hi, I've decided to 'slowly' try and sort out the poor brakes on my dci.. they are pretty shocking to be honest.. the car is an 07 plate however the discs and pads have loads of life still left Now, I'm wondering how I can improve the braking on my dci... so to try and slowly aleviate the problems I...

Remove the mirror glass first.. it pops out.. try using a long thick wooden spatula for leverage behind the glass and it should just then pop out.. be careful not to break the mirror glass.. Then fold mirrors in.. you should then be able to see the clips too.. use a flat blade screw driver or simila...

thats about right price then..£80-90 customer contribution per window.. although if the loom is knackered too that'll be extra!
