i dont get many miles outta my 1.4, but then im doin' alot of city drivin' up and down gears all the time. so i guess its to be expected. and as others have said, its a weighty beast, sounds normal to me.

driving at nearly any sped in my car on a smooth road. when i lift my foot from the accelerater i hear a very slight whining noise almost sounds like the electric motor of a remote control car but faint. i assume its always in the background but you just cant hear it when you put the foot back down....
