Mine's got 60000 mls on the clock and it is still like new in that respect

first rule of meganing: check the emergency key once you got the car.....

the hood is easy to remove and fix....just grab it with your finger tips at its rear and pull it towards you, gently but firmly.
I put some thin felt pads betwenn the hood and the dash....

as for the middle of the dash, no idea as yet as my car doesnt rattle there...

The inside rubber striping can be taken off easily? Can you explain this a bit more detailed? I have tried but they didn't move...

I did mine myself, had to have 2 attempts that failed before I am happy now with the third. I used cheap foil from a halfords-like store here in germany and each roll was about 7 quid, so no real damage. I absolutely wanted to keep the rear window foil in one peace, which was why I needed 3 attempts...

Normally it is not the motor that quits but it is the two bearings that get stuck over the years....they get wet and dry and wet and dry and, astonishingly, are not greased in any way....so they are bound to get stuck. I had mine opened and also opened the bearing itself and absolu...

I'd definitely go for the one with less mileage.....

@volestrangler interesting way of tackling this....only that I dont understand how you exactly mean this with the foam piece and stuff....you dont have a picture of this by any chance? the standard way of cleaning this tube is from the underside - somewhere under that alloy cover of the exhaust you ...
