Re: pioneer ts-q131c's and Megane 225?
The speakers are a straight swap, literally unscrew two screws in each and pull out the connector. They are much much better, although I do want to put dynamat in the door to stop the outer trim rattling. To access the speakers, open the door, and you can literally pull a small panel off, without pu...

Couple of Random Niggly Things
I popped into my local dealer and got a few part numbers for some things that I need. Does anyone have the part catalogue just to check that these are the correct bits. I'm hoping that part no. 8200231930 and 8200231931 are the little clear plastic stone guards on leading edge of rear arch. (These s...

Re: Park lights on left hand side not working
Yeh I would have called them side lights, to me parking lights are the ones that stay on when you turn the car off at night. Either left or right hand side only, depending on which way you were indicating to pull in (on most cars anyway).

Re: Fulltime 12V Accesory socket?
My socket stays on all the time that the key is in the car/ignition is on. I did notice that it turned off when i left the car, but to put it back on you only have to press the start button with the key in the holder, but not press the pedals, that will switch the electrics back on for 20 mins. Afte...

Re: Brake troubles?
May well be a warped brake disc. Ive never used the Kwik Fit brake test, but they may have literally just checked the condition of your pads, and the brake fluid level. Which would have come back fine even with a warped disc.

Re: Park lights on left hand side not working

Re: removing the rear panel to install speakers
You can fit a few speakers in the front, however you have to cut the rain guard away, so they may not last without a bit of engineering to protect them. The general units people are using, myself included, are the TS-Q131C in the front. These come with tweeters for the dash too. And then, if my memo...

Re: 225 exhaust on a 2.0l vvt dynamique
You will need to change the rear bumper for a 225/R26 one depending on the year of your car. The 225 bumper has a visible exit, surrounded by plastic, your car has a hidden exhaust exit. 225 rear bumper http://www.millteksport.com/media/images/productnews/13.original.jpg Your bumper http://www.renau...

Re: removing the rear panel to install speakers
Take a look at the very top of the ICE section in this forum. I've got a sticy there with loads of pictures on how to do it.
You need to unbolt the rear seats, and the front seatbelt mount to begin with.

Welcome along!
At the risk of sounding appalling, I would love to try and drive a hand controlled car. Would be a completely different experience then!

Re: Random beeping when driving, with no warning lights
The brake fluid level may look ok on a level surface, but will 'wash' around when cornering. Im sure it does bring up a stop light though. Also try checking the airbag cable underneath each front seat. When hoovering the car it can come loose slightly, however, that does bring up a stop and airbag l...

Re: Three beeps when starting
Im sure i read somewhere before that the beeps when starting were something to do with the alarm back up battery not charging correctly. This is just off the top of my head though, and could be about a different car altogether!

Re: Electric Window Fuses
The passenger window is probably a broken regulator, a very common problem on the meganes! The part alone from Renault is approx £200. I fixed mine the other day, I was lucky, the motor just had a bad connection, so once i pulled it out and put it back in it worked fine. The drivers window is nice a...
