Re: car history

Mine is short and sweet. I'm only just 22. 1) N reg Clio 1.9d (looked useless, was useless, but the torque band was nice, sold to my gran) 2) T reg Pug 106 1.1 (should have been useless, but was an epic little machine, it pulled well and much better than any of my mates cars at the time! Bought for ...

I'd be up for it. Provided I'm off work or Uni anyway.

This should work. Does every pin on both connectors have a corresponding pin on the other?

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption

I managed 64.6mpg in a 1.5Dci 3 door this weekend. Semi-combined, i.e 2 hours of motorway and a couple of trips through the city (in total about 200 miles). On just the motorway i managed to hit over 71mpg. Highest i've had over a full tank according to the dash was 67.3mpg on a trip to Plymouth, th...

Re: A big Welsh hello

I thought I had seen you around Swansea, recognised the Animal sticker. Give me beep if you see me. Only things stand out on the car really are the number plate, i've got big yellow smiley faces on rear side windows and the tip of my aerial is orange. Lucky spot with gear knob. I could do with a new...

Re: CD's STUCK

Mine once decided it was empty when it had a disc in it. I kept on pressing the eject button, only to get the error noise. I managed to get the disc out by holding a new disc over the sensor, more or less in the unit while pressing eject. This eventually tricked it into thinking there was a disc in ...

Re: rear brake lights flashing...

I've been thinking about trying this. Some of the newest cars do flash the brake lights, not just the hazards. The Vauxhall Insignia is one. Was behind one when it happened. All 3 brake lights flash at a different rate. I didnt know what was happening. I know that motorbike accessory shops sell a fl...

Re: re spray`

This site seems to have some pretty decent reviews, and has been featured in a couple of mags.
The 106 looks fantastic, although probably pretty expensive.

Re: Emergency key please check before purchase

Look on the passenger side door handle, on the right hand side of it, there is a clip on cover. It's essentially the only part of the door handle that doesnt move when you open the door. On the underside of this, there is a small rectangular hole. Pull open your keycard, as if changing the battery, ...

Re: 04 Megane 1.9 DCI Dynamique 5DR *HANDLES*

For niggly things like this I suggest trying eBay France. Dont really know why, but they seem to have more of a range than UK. The passenger one is more common because it comes off for the emergency key, so people are likely to lose it eventually.

Re: re spray`

If you are thinking about going for a respray and dont want to pay the full whack for it. Have you thought about a 'wrap'? I dont know anyone who has done it, but more and more cars these days are being wrapped. All the 'chrome' supercars the internet is filled with are wrapped with a chrome vinyl. ...

Re: Eddie's Here

Hey, and welcome to the forum. With regards the window problem, most of the time they do need new motors, however, I was lucky with mine, the connector had popped out, once i pulled it off completely and replaced it worked again, have you tried that? The handsfree is notoriously 'buggy', lots of peo...

Re: pioneer ts-q131c's and Megane 225?

225 is exactly the same. (image is blatantly pinched from another forum with arrows added by me) http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn282/4lec/FrontSpeaker.jpg Open the door, start pulling the small panel, starting at the red arrow. There are a fair few clips in it, and it may feel like your breakin...
