IainMW, did you manage to speak to your dealer about this. Just an update on mine, not managed to get it in to dealer yet as have had workmen doing up house all week and need to be here. When going over bumpy roads the car moves side to side as though trying to steer itself when it feels the bump. E...

I'd be interested in a meet. Be good to compare mods and ice installations etc. Probably come away with a few ideas for your own Megane.

Hello. As far as I'm aware I think if you lock the rear doors then the windows are locked as well. Don't think you can do it seperately. They assume if your kids are young enough to need door locks on then they should have window locks on too. Someone may know different but I also have this problem ...

Dealer near Aylesbury?

Hi all, I'm fed up with using Renault London West after my last trip there resulted in them keeping the car for 9 weeks. I live in Aylesbury, Bucks. The Aylesbury Renault Garage has closed down and become a Toyota dealership so if anyone can recommend a good dealer within reasonable distance of Ayle...

My deadlocking definitely works when someone is still in the car. Last week me and the missus went for dinner at my parents. When we parked I got out and went inside and the missus said she was gonna ahve a quick cigarette before coming in. I went in and as usual double pressed the lock button. Abou...

Okay cheers.

Mine is vibrating/wobbling pretty much all the time now although most of the time its very slight.

When I get out of the car after a longish drive I have the vibrating sensation stay in my feet for a while.

Had the wheels balanced yesterday. Took the car on a run to Gatwick Airport this morning and unfortunately the wobbling/vibration is still there. It seems to be more prominent when I take my foot of the accelerator or when the car begins to slow down. Bumpy roads make the wobbling worse and more fre...

Yeah I have had mine replaced and it is covered under warranty. I assume being an 04 plate your warranty is finishing soon. I think the replacement dephaser pulley costs about £700 including labour.

Also its a very common problem.

By motor mounts I assume these are the same as engine mounts. I know a few people have had problems with these mounts before.

Getting the wheels rebalanced tommorrow so I will see how it feels after that.

With regard to the surging and lulls, do you experience any other problems like rough idling or cutting out.

As you have a 1.6 it could possible be the Dephaser Pulley.

Congrats on your 500 post milestone!

Hopefully mine will be okay if I get them balanced again then. It sometimes feels as though the wheels are wobbling on the axle and trying to go different ways!
