What do 'admin' think about this? As someone said previously, maybe there should be a separate forum category with a topic for each engine size? Just that it ain't an ownership problem as such but it does seem to be an interest of many members. Widely varying figures too.

I would say that that the garage that just carried out the work for is responsible for this one and not you much maligned Megane this time!

I've had a few minor niggles on my 04 1.4 'Sport' Hatch but it has largely been very reliable. Alomost out of warranty, though, so will be keeping my fingers crossed after hearing of everyone elses problems! As others have said, I'm sure there are the same kind of hassles with most brands.

Simple question really. How many people have chickened out as their Meganes have reached the end of the warranty period and how many have decided to carry on regardless?

Never a truer word spoken. Pearl black here as well. Looks great all waxed up in the summer but a pain in the arse at this time of year! Thinking of gunmetal/hologram grey or eclipse next time.

All models should have variable assistance. Mine is a '04' 1.4. I don't really notice a speed dependent difference but never find the steering weight inappropiate, either.
