Bubbles in the fuel line means that you have an air leak somewhere in the system.. The fuel system on the 1.5 DCI is self bleeding so bubbles is not good..

Re: Megane Diagnostic Clip

The Megane II has always used CAN bus protocol..
Renault introduced further Can interfacing in 2005 (ie the radio) and even more in the facelift model.

It will only be covered by the 3 year 60K warranty unless you are very lucky and get a "contribution" depending on mileage/service history and a great deal of Luck!!

If Not then it will cost ya around £450ish to have it replaced by a dealer.

Re: Steering CLUNK - help

Strut top mounts breaking apart are a very common failure on the Megane II and can cause the noise that you are hearing..

There is a Renault Tech note that covers this.. The mounts are not that expensive, but require specialist spring compressor equipment to replace.. Takes approx 1 hour to do both..

Re: Megane Diagnostic Clip

Dont waste your money as it will not work on the Megane II.
The Megane II uses "CAN" bus.. This is the ELM327 cable I use along with the Scanmaster software..

Re: Air Conditioning help please.

Rubbish, Its got nothing to do with wether there are 1 or 2 ports as the time to perform it is exactly the same in either setup. The recommended times for Degas/Regas as specified by most A/C service equipment maufacturers is: 20 mins to take gas out and vacumn 10 mins vacumn hold to check for leaks...

Re: Air Conditioning help please.

Yep, there is only 1 port and that is the high pressure one.. I would NOT under any circumstances recommend the DIY kits as you can never know how much refigerant is in the system. Too much will quickly wreck the compressor.. and at £1000 ain't cheap.. In wiltshire there is a local independant offer...
