Btw is it just me, but when I jack up the front end the rear almost comes off the ground as well?
Also looking under car I can see gearbox etc, am I missing a cover?

Re: Clicking from wheel
It is a weird one Alex... I jacked it up, turned the wheel by hand and there is nothing stuck on there, I mean nothing... took the wheel off (bolts were nice and tight) and inspected it some more, but nothing. I was even naughty and put engine on in gear to see if the hub/disc was clicking, but noth...

Clicking from wheel
I have an annoying clicking sound from my passenger side front (I think) wheel. Its like you get when there's a stone or grit it the tire, but be damned if I can find it  I can only hear it when front window is down. I am going to have a ggod look today and even swap front tires over to see if ...

Re: Electric window motor controller!
This happened to me also, and a lot more I suspect due to bad design. I think mine was caused by water collecting at bottom of door, and soaking up the wiring loom and into the unit, or water dripping off the glass onto the unit. Either way its not good :? I want to keep this car for some time so de...

Re: car filled with smoke, now windows dont work
one of my temic controllers was burnt out also, without fuse blowing. I have since changed them with one similar to the 'cube' window controllers from ebay. you lose the one touch function and auto closing function but they are very reliable. Being paranoid though I connected in series with the moto...

Re: 2 x headlamp bulbs replaced in 15 minutes
Well... I did manage to change the sidelight bulbs, but do you think I could do it through those poxy access covers under the wheel arch? No. I did it from the top, still a very tight fit though and couldn't get the battery side one rubber cover back on properly. The left side one was the easiest, a...

Another point is that the manual says use low uv bulbs otherwise your lenses may MELT! Renault have used plastic instead of glass

Re: 2 x headlamp bulbs replaced in 15 minutes
I am trying this also this weekend. My sidelight at the front aren't working. Rear lights are, so can't be the fuse's.
Apart from the both bulbs failing at the same time, does anyone know another reason they aren't working? Any connectors or anything I could check first? ta

Re: Road tax to be scrapped next year
Strange how we still say road tax instead of car tax. Read somewhere that most of the money spent on roads and repairs etc comes from general taxation that we all pay. Car tax just gives it a bit extra.

car tax question
I have an 06 1.5 dci that is £100 a year car tax, however I keep seeing these mentioned with £30 tax? Are these the cars with that stupid exhaust particle filter thing to get the emissions down perhaps?

Re: megane estate 55 plate boot wont open
I found on a previous car that the cables in the ruber loom between the car and boot were starting to break giving me all kinds of grief.
