Re: Can you get a bad remap?
I used AngelTuning, they are ok.. however they did wipe my ecu codes from my car when they applied the map.. they did however offer me to get a hire car while my car was being recoded, although renault got it in the day after (had to take day off work) to get it fixed..it did only cost £96.. which I...

Re: Key Slot Light
That's interesting. I've already taken advantage of this fact and added heated seats and tyre pressure sensors. There is one plug behind the panel to the right of the steering wheel. I wonder if it's for cruise control or ESP? Interested in keeping my butt warm.. how much did it cost and what's nee...

Re: alternative tyre size
No, price isn't really an issue..
It just seems there are hardly any tyre choices available in that size
I've had the falken 452's and the ecsta spt and both were a decent mid tyre so will either stick with them or even give the rainsport 2 a go..

Re: alternative tyre size
My last car had 215/50/17 however, vauxhall listed 225/45/17 as an alternative..
They were also cheaper and lots more choice..
Was wondering if there was a reno alternative listed
Guess I'll just have to make do.. either falken 452 or rainsport 2's

I have the standard gt alloys and my fronts are getting low..
Any idea if their is an alternative size to the 205/50/17 size as their seems to be hardly any choice..

Re: Alternative mirror covers
Ah rite cheers for the quick reply.. Think the chrome ones will work out cheaper for now then until there is a bit more cash in the fund! I'll keep hold of my other mirror cover which is ok and get a scrap cover another time and get them done.. Any idea on the colour code and is it shiny or are they...

Alternative mirror covers
Got to pick up a new set of mirror covers.. as somehow the clip inside has snapped..
Looking at getting chrome replacements from Renault..
However I have seen some gun metal grey ones on some meganes.. particularly on cup or 225 models..
Are they available to buy anywhere as I love the look of them..

Re: Key Slot Light
Defiantly both!! Just fitted the factory cruise control buttons without the cruise control slip ring type thing, most of the wiring was there but a few connections, the randomness of it all is ridiculous! Most, if not all cars are now fitted with full wiring harnesses.. then when the customer 'opts...

Re: How to change gearbox oil
I've also got a notchy gearbox...
seems to be a lil better when its warmed up..but still not great
might try the warranty people and see if i can get it in to be looked at..
although it would be good to go in with half an idea as to what the problem and remedy is likely to be..

I'd be happy with 15k from a set of tyres..
If your after some that are reasonably good and will last.. try falkens and even the kumho ectsa spt are good for price..
