The following "or once when i role the timer stalk with the numbers 1-4 wrote on" does not happen in my car. I get this happening only when I increment the stalk thingy, not decrementing. I wonder if there's a fault and the wipers therefore also move when decrementing. Perhaps take it to ...

Backlights on LCDs are normally integral to the display, not a separate user replaceable part. If I were you I'd try getting the whole display - preferably from a written off car, rather than brand new. The backlight on our Megane is quite dim, but it's OK, since I can read the display - unlike the ...

I'd suggest checking the connections are being made OK, and the connector's not been put in wrong. There's no reason for it to not recognise anything on the CD-Changer, as long as it's working. Failing that, do you know anyone else with a Renault that has the same head unit? Try it in their car too...

It's good to only have faults with a car when it's already been replaced. I remember my old Punto decided to jump out of second gear a few days before handing it over to the local Vauxhall dealer. Apart from head gasket failure (common on that engine) it was the only thing to go wrong with it in 62k...

I'm wondering if Dension make the tunepoint for Rnault, as the feature list is similar to the newer models. I've got an older IceLink myself which I moved over to the Megane. So it's worth trying to get into the menu - I think it's done by pressing/holding the 6th CD button.

Have you had a look on Renault to Go? https://www.renault.co.uk/ApprovedUsed/RTGDHome.aspx That's where I found my new Laguna. I got my Megane through RTG as well (using the local dealership). Personally I'm glad I got the panoramic sunroof - if you like having a sunroof (not everyone does) then it...

Diesels are usually more expensive to buy and maintain, but offer better fuel economy. I find my 1.5 dCi 106 a great engine, and get close to the 60mpg combined figure. I don't do much motorway driving, but it's fine when I do. Certainly if you do 12000 or more miles a year it's worth looking at the...

If you do a search on the forum, these 2 seems to crop up a fair bit. A cable may be broken on the clutch (to tell the computer it's depressed).

I'm very pleased with mine, driving approx 15k a year mostly cross country. To me it handles well (Iain said the journos say not as well as a Focus, and that's probably true since the Focus is a lot wider - meaning if I'd had one it'd need new sides), and the performance is no problem at all. Excell...

Angel Tuning have a very good reputation over at the Fiat Forum (where I used to go after owning a Punto). For a good quality remap or plug-in box you'll need to spend that kind of money - it takes a not insignificant amount of time to develop these things, and offer fitting services, and other cust...

Dont know about the tyre pressures - the symbols are like 'empty' ovals, does that mean they are correct, or do they became 'filled in' when the tyre pressures are wrong? I don't have the tyre pressure sensors, so it would be worth reading your manual which should have some details. You could also ...

If you get that one, let us know how you get on with it, as I'm sure it would be useful info for other people here.
