mine does a similar thing if i'm crawling in trafiic at just above idle. i'll go to pull away, foot all the way to the floor and nothing, clutch in though and it'll judder back to life. doesnt go to stall or anything it just has nothing. they are a complete con, all it is is a resistor. it tricks the ECU into thinking the engine is running colder than it is so the ecu compensates by chucking more fuel in.

they are bad bad news. to get 20bhp gains you need to be spending hundreds of pounds on reputable products, not 5 on ebay!

be cheaper to sell the car and buy a 225 mate!

i had the opposite prob, mine wouldnt close. the pop up bar had got really stiff and the pressure of the sunroof closing couldnt force it down. lots of grease later and its fine now

i doubt it.

i run a Forte diesel treatment through mine every 2-3k which supposedly helps with keeping the EGR clean. i change my oil in between services too.

i'd take rolling road results with a pinch of salt mate, i could put it on another tomorrow and it might only get 135! its how the car drives thats the main thing.

what are the service intervals on the car? Does it have a FAP filter?

ive got a BMC in mine matey, doesnt make that much more of a difference to be honest.

i had my megane done by them just before xmas. top top guys, really friendly and helpful. You will deffo notice a difference, both in performance and economy.

the clio V6 isnt a quick car. in the right hands a 172/82 is just as quick. i'd expect a F1 to leave a V6 quite happily. its a lot easier to drive too
