Re: ARNOLD CLARK ARE W******

Chris, I'm sure we can all fill in the *****, the common perception on this forum is that AC have little care for their customers and border on incompetence - clearly the organisation culture is such right down from Scotland to the NW England. I for one hope my local stealership goes out of business...

Ross,

Go back to the dealer - most dealerships have their records computerised, its just the grease monkey who forgot to stamp the book otherwise.

Re: Door lock buttos not working

Tavis, I have a Nov/2003 Dynamique with Comfort pack - so the remote entry was fitted. My buttons on the door which I used most to lock - rear d/side passenger failed first - I guessthey have worn after 5 years of constant use. The unlocking bit - hand around the sensor on the handles also stopped w...

Re: Front Electric windows not working.

Yeah - fold in's as part of the "Comfort pack" on a 53 plate. They fold in on the joy stick on the drivers door - turn it to the 6 o'clock position - can confirm its still working on mine..........nothing else does! :mad

Re: Electric window motors.

Ian, A bit more sympathy than freddie. I too have a 53 palte with a number of faults - they wanted £ 1700 to fix at a recent service (44 k miles). I concur with the don't buy one without a warranty, but would now go further - I just won't buy another one. Renault UK are hopeless and the local main d...
