Re: injection fault on display?????
From what you are saying I think that the pump sounds to be good, and you are getting bad data from a bad pressure switch. As for bubbles, you really should try and get rid of them, just keep priming it, then warm up and let the engine cool down then prime it again.

Re: injection fault on display?????
If the fuel pump has started to destroy itself, the evidence will be in the tank, I had to use a blunt screwdriver and a rubber hammer to ease the lid off the tank by gently tapping against one of the lugs, to unscrew the lid. If the pump has just started to fail, the metal filings may not of reache...

Re: Car won't start
After you refit the timing belt, if you still have no compression, look at the level in your coolant bottle whilst cranking the engine over. I the level is going up and down quite dramatically then you have a blown head gasket, if not it could be more serious mechanical damage caused be an incorrect...

Re: injection fault on display?????
If the live data for the pressure is responding to throttle movement then that would suggest that the pressure sensor is working. If the regulator were to fail it could cause low pressure, but it is highly unlikely to have failed. There is nothing inside the spider, it is just a junction box. So, un...

Re: injection fault on display?????
I don't think you told us which engine/model that you have, but I have the 1.5dci and posted on another thread that after a pump change I had 230 bar at 806 rpm (idle), I was told that these figures are good. And yes, I am thinking a bad pressure sensor, see what readings it gives you, and does the ...

Re: Coolant temperature renewal 1.5dci 2007 estate
I've just had a look at my temp sensor on my 04 plate 1.5dci, with the engine cover removed you can see it easily, it looks like it has a plastic clip holding it in, although an ebay search would suggest that it's screwed in, most temp sensors that I have come across on different makes and models ar...

We used to mock British cars for their wiring, but these Meganes seem just as bad, anyway I'm glad you are getting results.

Re: Megane mk2 2008 1.4 16v sensor help
I have never done sub frame bushes on a Megane, but a quick internet search makes me believe that the sub frame isn't that hard to remove, then press out the old and in with the new. However it might be possibly to use a bit of threaded bar and some washers/bushes to do the job on the car.

Re: Electrical Faults (ABS, WINDOWS & HEATERS)
Hi Kerry, I would suggest looking at the windows first, the window modules (temics) are notorious for failing, the mini cube is one solution, so long as your motor is good, however it will only make the window go up and down whilst your finger is on the switch, the auto down feature will no longer w...
