sounds like regulator.
easiest way - take off the negative from the battery terminal, put it back on, press the lock button twice on the remote. the window should go back up, maybe not fully though. repeat until fully closed. secure the negative terminal when done.

a dealer service is more about checking things rather than replacing things. isn't that the point? so people can see them?
but yes, i agree the bright red leds can be over powering if you're positioned at the wrong (or correct?) angle/height

on a 53 plate? they didnt' have FAP engines for those models. They only came in on the phase 2's or late late phase 1's I think. (2005>)
