I got an app on my phone OBD check which is well worth it (£4.00). Has real time fuel economy, power, oxygen, just about everything you would ever need. Even checks for errors, but cant get rid of them though.

I have a bluetooth one, but the only problem I have had is sometimes paring it to my phone.... but not really a problem.

I think your best bet is getting a donor car and swapping over from a 2.0vvt. Not sure if that would be worth it if you compare with the added cost for labour.

What on earth is spooling? Some of us are just being introduced to mobile phones reluctantly, with walking sticks and might not be "hip".

I tend to drive to my holidays these days... even to Germany.

Actually is 36mpg right? My wife's ford smax 163 bhp automatic can get 38mpg doing town driving and that is one heavy car.

Thanks, I was thinking the same. My next car will definitely be diesel as I cant find a petrol that can do over 650 miles a tank and has decent acceleration.

I just wish there was a megane 3 cc Florence that was made with a diesel engine. The interior is really nice.

I am tempted by this engine as it has a chain rather than a belt.

What is the mpg and what kind of bhp can you get with a remap?

Convertible is just the vent but hatch is the whole bumper .... if its the megane 3 you mean.

Is it true the interior is smaller than the megane 2 cc?

Not but just bought a switch for folding mirrors for £10.00 from renbreakers in Ipswich. I would recommend giving them a call.

I think the key is turbo vs NA. Remapping turbo gives really good results NA ... not so much. I believe the 1.6 is NA so.....
