you flip the cover off on the inside of the car and undo the torque screws and the whole lot pulls off (fit in reverse order)

i think it just goes to show that 3 years before a new car requires a MOT is way too long.

do that and spray some silicone lubricant on them aswell

you could try sourcing a recon turbo. lot cheaper but generally only come with a 3 month warranty

Does anybody know the part number of the electric folding wing mirror on the drivers side? The motor has packed up and I don't want to pay the £200 that the local stealer wants. Was going to try to get one off eBay and cannibalise it for the motor but want to make sure I get the right one.

you can do it through the wheel arch and sometimes it leaves you looking like you've been self harming but removing the battery is the easiest way of doing it

it's on passenger side. the book is for left hand drive cars

inspect the top mounts. had a spring go on me and the top mount was buckled so that had to be done to.
