Hi Danny The horn is only single tone on the Megane - and pretty poor sound wise! It is located behind the front bumper/nose assembly and I think getting at it involves removal of the complete front section! - someone else may know another method but I doubt it! I wish you all the best with your pro...

Hi John Yes - the AA always carry these coils, I think they have to because of the sheer numbers of Renault vehicles that were fitted with them! You probably know that the crappy Sagem coils have now been outclassed by the improved Beru ones, much more reliable it seems! :D I for one will be carryin...

Hi Toxic fume warning light normally points towards bad coils - ie rough running, misfire on one or more cylinders. I think at least one coil has given up the ghost! Get a diagnostic check carried out or if you have no warranty - replace your coils with a decent set from Ebay. Easy to find and reall...

Hi Admur First of all - welcome along! 1.4 BHP is 98 for my version - so not a ball of fire but it don't do too badly. As for getting your engine checked, do you have AA cover or similar (you don't state if any warranty remains on your car) If you do - get them to come out to you (they diagnosed a b...

Hi Iain

Does this reset work with all models?

Worth knowing when your car is out of warranty (as kwik fit said - they cannot help with the electronics)

Would be a good pointer for all members! :D

Hi I think it's a great idea, would provide a good cross section of consumptions and provide a member's reference section if people are concerned about their Meg's frugality!! Petrol vs diesel etc.! Just as a preliminary benchmark - I have never seen more than 42.7mpg on my trip computer, and never ...

Hi there I would suggest that as a seatbelt is a legal requirement in the UK that yes it is a safety issue and your dealer (no matter how far away from you they are) should arrange to pick the car up. After all - would they offer to pay your fine for no belt? - I don't think so. Have a word with you...

Hi there Had same prob with mine, called AA, came out (no charge because if you are under warranty, you are covered by AA Renault Assist - in the UK). Don't think the wrong octane rating will be a problem. If you had filled up with 4 star (leaded petrol) it would be different! Hope you resolve it qu...
