Did a oil change and noise still there on some days...getting it booked into a garage to get the pulley changed....i am expecting a bill of around £230. Fingers crossed

Hi this week my drivers window kindly stopped working luckily it was all the way up..taking the door card off i found the wiring harness just below the window motor was soaked. Nothing else just this 3” or so of foam covered wiring. Spraying wd40 had no effect so ordered replacement temic connection...

You must turn your lights on while the engine is running most people i know just leave them on side lights, if you do this the lights will turn off and back on with the ignition position....on my car it has to be moving and raining for the wipers to come on automatically as before you have to turn t...

Hi thanks for the replies..water pump and belt done 3000 miles ago i never knew at the time about these pulleys, I plan to do a oil change just to rule that out if the noise still exists i will get the dephaser pulley changed. Will keep you all posted.Thanks

Hi my ABS lights kept coming on i just sprayed the sensors at the wheel with WD40 and it was fixed. I jacked up the car spun the wheel while spraying...better than destroying the dashboard...

Just buy a usb adaptor that plugs straight into the cigar lighter. Usually 2 usbs in the adaptor no mesding with the wires

You do not mess up the tracking by removing the track rod end...just 1 nut removed and a ball joint remover required..DO NOT TOUCH THE INNER CONNECTIONS...then undo the bottom ball joint connection and obviously the centre nut at the end of the driveshaft and a gentle pull of the drive shaft and it ...

Hi my mk2 1.6 2006 model makes a funny noise only on first start up of the day and not all the time i have asked before i thought it was the starter but apparently not....my question is if i leave it and put up with the noise what will happen does anything snap or break...not much chance of it fixin...

Might help...i had a citroen saxo with the same problem it turned out to be a fuel problem...when going up hill or parked on a hill teh fuel would return to tank a simple 1way valve sorted it....
