Re: Crystal Renault Boston Lincs

I went there in search of a megane before christmas, a guy called gavin; He was very helpful and keen. Though he never found me a car for the price i asked him too look for. Try Pocklingtons in Louth for servicing, i've heard very good things about them and they even wash your car for you when you'v...

Re: What car did you learn to drive in?

My first was a peugeot 106, in proper boy racer fashion; used to think it was a little bullet. Mum's a driving instructor so i had free driving lessons :D She had a corsa and if people can't drive a corsa they shouldn't be allowed to drive, it could not be any easier. As above i proceded to write of...

Re: Speakers

True,
Just that everyone seemed to complain about the costs. (though worth it)

Just ordered some TS-E1376's! Should be good in the back.
Waiting for a chance to fit them, probably next weekend.

Re: Speakers TS-1384

Pioneer TS-1384 < I found these earlier whilst browsing for some new speakers. They're an alternative to the TS-Q131C , not as powerful but far cheaper. I don't no what the quality is like but they seem to be a fraction of the cost. This is where i found them: https://www.aliencaraudio.com/index.asp...

Re: XTRONS TD702G Double Din HU GPS / DVD / iPOD etc

You've made my day! I've een looking at loads of double dins but yet to find which is a good one. I liked the Pioneer HU you were looking at aswell, but the other one you showed seems to have far more features and toys. I'm not a fan of aftermarket stereos but the double dins look nicer. I'm saving ...

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?

I have found the removal on the the site and it doesn't look too difficult,
Just a bit of a pain and time consuming.

Thanks for the heads up on the speakers, i'll probably look into doing them next week.

After the music has been sorted i'll be asking about some new alloys!

Thanks guys.

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?

I've been looking at this: https://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8301.html Get a couple of adapters for the screen and stalk and it should look alright As for the rears, do the TS-E1396's provi...

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?

Isn't the cabasse system in the laguna just the HU? My dad had one a few years back and it was a great system. Would this fit? or will it need a facsia panel? Failing all that i might think of upgrading to a Double Din unit. Off subject again, the Pioneer speakers for the rear doors; are they "...

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?

Hello, new to the megane world, I've just got my megane about a month ago and thought the speakers were crap. I changed the front two about 5 mins ago and it took ten mins, the tweeters included. I bought them from caraudiodirect.com for £75 delivered and i only bought them yesterday. Does anybody k...
