Sorry, forgot to mention that I ran the cable up the left hand side of the centre column up to the stereo. Bloody fiddly, but worth the effort in the end. Best of luck :) Can you show me a picture of how you threaded the green connector from the AUX socket UP through the centre console to the back ...

I finally got two minutes to drag my update list stereo out over the holidays and check if an AUX connection would work with the 6 CD changer left in place. Seems like good news for those of us with the 6 CD changer :-) 99% sure that the blue connector is the CD changer. On Bumpy macaroon's photo's...

Hi Paddy Just had stereo out to look. Not the 6 disc changer But it appears that there is a blank space on rear of stereo as I can see in other pics for some sort of connector to fit in. Ive just brought Michelin Energy Saver. The are ok got 61 mpg norwich to newmarket at 65 mph and 49 mpg when i did the trip in a rush
