Ebay - the one I bought was https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0100908887 and the seller usually has plenty of them up for grabs and is very reliable.

At least your battery went flat with some dignity - when mine went it had just enough juice to unlock the doors then started clicking like crazy and there was nothing I could do to stop it or lock the doors up again :? I had to disconnect the battery, charge it up just enough to be able to reconnect...

I have a manual gearbox so it's safe to say I know absolutely nothing about the auto's or any common problems associated with them. If your car is under warranty just ask the dealers to look into it, even if they cant fix it there will at least be some record that you notified them of a problem shou...

Make sure they make a note of it because if the starter fails in the future you will at least have some comeback

No I don't have handsfree entry, but would the antenna be in the floor of the boot? Surely it would make more sense for it to be in the roof? Then again... it is a Renault! lol. As you say it's a Renault so the antenna is liekly to end up in the middle lane of the M25 when it falls off one day :twi...

I went into this area @ 70KM/H. the car moved slightly to the left then to the right when I was olding the wheel centered. That's called aquaplaning...

Re: Help with Renault Clio

The garage that fitted the new exhaust said the car should quieten once the new exhaust is 'run in' You have permission to slap whoever told you that in a Basil Fawlty fashion! Either they have replaced the exhaust for nothing due to it not being an exhaust problem, they have replaced the w...

Phil, I just installed the drivers and several pieces of software that came with it, plugged it in and it worked. I've only used it to read the error codes but can confirm that it had no problem reading them. Works under Vista too which is a plus lol. I only intend to use it for diagnostics - mainly...

Or you can buy yourself one of these https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290104297027 and reset the service light and error codes - obviously not recommended unless the fault has actually been fixed first because that would just be equivalent to doing a Del Boy and taking the b...

It's booked in for surgery on wednesday. Incidentally I now have the cables and interface box to hook the Megane up to my laptop and read the error codes myself - thought that may come in handy for when the warranty expires.

When you get it back you won't want to get rid of it - until the next time it breaks, and then the next and the next and on it goes :? I must be a total sucker because I've had the AA out 6 times and been back to the service center with at least 6 different electronic failures and I still love the c...
