Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
I'm a tad concerned for mine. I cant get above 40 MPH no matter how careful I am... I did 30 miles yesterday, average speed I think was around 40ish and I got 39MPG in return.. Then today I just had it ticking over, and watched the average MPG drop. It was counting down! It must've dropped about 1/2...

Re: How To: Check & Change Glow Plugs
Hi Great post I followed it and it was nice and simple to do thanks to your pics. Does anyone know what causes the glow plugs to go in the first place? Had my car about 2 months and replaced a full set on purchase and then a single one this weekend... Just wondered if I may have a fault somewhere el...

Re: Can barely hear horn...
Hi
Ive taken your advice and posted on the parkers site so hopefully someone there may be able to help.
Car is on an 03 plate with about 59k on the clock. Its booked in for a check at Grimsby Renault, been quoted £269 inclusive parts and labour for a full service, that sound a good price?

Hi Randomly I had never used the horn until the other day, and to my amazement its so quiet! With the windows up you can barely hear it, with the radio on you wouldnt know you've pressed it! Is this a problem or are all the meganes like this? While I'm at it I think I'm being paranoid but got anothe...

Flat spot on 1.9dci
Does anyone else find they have a massive flat spot in first gear? I pulled out at a roundabout the other day, needing to be sharpish, and there was nothing! It just slugged forward... To have a quick start i found you need a lot of revs. Is it just that the turbo doesnt kick in until a certain rev?...

Re: check injection and service light
Funnily enough I have same issue too.. only had the car a week. The light was on during test drive, however the glow plugs were replaced for me before i picked it up. Everything was fine until last night when driving home and they came on again, no loss of power like yourselves. Came to car this mor...

Re: Hello there...
Just picked it up today, and I do love it. So does the missus, it is for her mainly. Still got the whole turbo thing in back of my mind but just gonna have to suck it and see. The 3 month warranty definitely covers turbo's so just hope if it does go its within 3 months! Its been serviced, new front ...

Extended warranties
Hi
When buying a used car, is the only warranty you can buy the one they offer to you? Such as the AA or RAC do one I think, but is this only at their approved dealers etc?
Cheers
