I don't see where does it mention about the folding mirrors?it mentions electric mirrors which is not the same thing.

while I was at the dealers yesterday,I asked for you about the dog guard,they didn't know if Renault does one.But the guy said,knowing Renault they haven't thought about it yet,will probably do one in 6 months time.

the new one I had,didn't have an engine cover either.

this might sound stupid,but when you first sit in the car and if it was in gear,you put in neutral,right?do you let go of the clutch?mine had same sort of problem awhile back,Renault didn't find anything wrong with it,but I think for some reason this might be the cause.worth a try!
