Re: Spacers

Unless you buy hubcentric spacers, which is what you should be getting anyway really. Look at Eibach Pro spacers, they come with everything you need to fit them properly.

Re: My Megane (October update)

1.5 pal. That's just from a remap at RS Tuning in Leeds. Going back there for a tweak once I fit a new clutch.

Welcome Grant!

Any more info on your Renault? I'm assuming it is a Megane? Any pictures?

Re: history of the 225

I'm pretty sure that 'history' is incorrect tbh.

In respect to engine upgrades I would say the best value for money option is a custom remap. Make sure you use a reputable tuner who uses a rolling road to test and prove the power gains. It should cost around £300-£400+ for a decent map.

Re: Is it true?

You'll be fine with a 30 mil drop. So long as you buy high quality springs you will barely notice a difference in ride quality. I had Eibach Pro-Kit which were very good.

Just be sure to get it tracked up after you have lowered it.

Re: Megane cc RS .... the begining

Those 3 spoke Saab Hirsch wheels you're thinking about are the best OE wheels ever made in my humble opinion. I would love a set but they go for well over a grand.

Re: Megane cc RS .... the begining

 Not sure I agree a £1400 set of Schmidt's look like the standard fit Renault wheels!

Force 10's have been done before, go for something original
