If it locks the steering wheel it's very dangerous and you should refrain from driving the vehicle until the problem is sorted out

If the timing was out and you can not turn the engine one full revolution the pistons are hitting the valves ,and it's very posible you will have caused damage to the valves :(

Buy the correct wiring kit from renault , I only paid £33 for it from them when I fitted one to my CC and it just plugs in to the rear light sockets

Yes the door do lock them self's when you start driving and yes it can be disabled but can not remember how to do it , I think you hold the central lock button for 10 seconds but I could be wrong

Hi and welcome to the forums :D , when I fitted a tow bar to my CC I bought the correct wiring kit from renault and it just plugs in to a socket in the rear lights , I was expecting it to cost a fortune but was very surprised when it was only £33
