As i was looking at inlet manifold i felt around inside and there was like a 3-5mm layer of thick black sludge all inside it. Has anyone tried to take it off to clean it? i had a look in haynes manual and it was sa...

Re: egr valve blank?.. help! :-)
By just unplugging the egr valve wont that mean that it will be constantly open or is it shut by default?
I read on some site saying just take it out and put a 40mm pipe with sealed ends and it will block up the holes.

Re: 2003 1.9 dci won't start
I found that manual pump thing useless when trying to get diesel back in the fuel lines so what i ended up doing was taking one end out of the fuel filter and suck on it until it pulls the diesel through. Stop before it gets to your mouth and the manual pump should work the last little bit.

Re: Engine vibrates on idle plus crap mpg
my car has dropped in mpg down to about 40 it usually does it this time of year due to cold weather.
my check injection light was solved by fitting new glow plugs.
Did you check to see if your egr valve moves freely enough when you cleaned it so it isnt stuck open/closed.

Odd window mechanism
Its been bothering me for ages im guessing one of them has been changed in the past but what side is meant to be the proper way. The drivers side has a thin runner and dont see no cables for it where passenger side is bigger and 2 cables from it in view. http://imageshack.us/a/img703/5884/df1y.jpg h...
